Kindle... sort of.

This morning I clicked over to Amazon. On the front page they've always got a huge image of their Kindle reading device front and center. But not this morning.

I can't tell you how mind-blowingly huge that it. It would be like Microsoft pushing Office for Mac on the front page of its website.

Lens Envy: Canon 75-350mm

This week Target is advertising a Canon 75-350mm 4-5.6 III telephoto lens for $199.

However, the same lens at Amazon is only $155.

I haven't used this lens, but the 55-250 that I use at work is a pretty good telephoto lens. I imagine a 350 would be pretty great to have in the arsenal sometimes.

Just a heads up not to spend too much...

Mojo Available for Pre-Order at Amazon

Tom Petty and the Heartbreaker's forthcoming album, Mojo, is available for pre-order
now at Amazon for $12.99 (regular price will be $18.98).

And happy birthday to me...

Will Amazon Sell the iPad?

Here's a question I find strangely interesting... will Amazon sell the iPad? They sell iMacs and other Apple computers. They sell iPods and iPhones. They sell AppleTVs.

But they also sell Kindle, which is the iPad's primary competitor (at least Amazon sees it that way...).

This could get interesting.
