Upon checking the new Final Cut Pro X camera compatibility page, it looks as if neither of the cameras I have at work (a 60D and a new XA-10) that I would shoot video on are supported (yet.) I say yet because I'me sure that support is coming, but Canon isn't exactly known for its speedy driver updates.
Dangit! Looks like I won't be a Day One Adopter, after all.
